This weekend we tried to induce fall weather by visiting Rombach's Pumpkin Patch. We've never been before and it was fun, though unbearably hot (92 degrees? In OCTOBER?). We were there to get some professional pictures done of the kids, and to hopefully have a bit of fun. They were a bit crabby but cheered up while playing. I like that there was so much to do, but I wish you could just pay one fee and do it all (more like Eckerts). We played on the playsets (FREE!), rode the ponies, and rode the 'train'. Oh boy, the train...the poor man driving it I felt very sorry for. Each seat (barrel, cutely painted with a seatbelt) comes with a horn. Every single kid merrily tooting these horns CONSTANTLY would drive me nuts in about a minute, but he managed it cheerfully.
