Evan: Just got moved upstairs to his 'big boy room'. He is doing very well and loves having all his space for his toys and other goodies. We have a wireless intercom that he can call us with and that is working very well. The best part is now Adrienne is in his old room across the hall, and not in our bedroom anymore! He is making up pretend stories that he will say "are not real", and those crack us up. He is enrolled in a sports skills class on Tuesday nights at Little Gym and next week will start to learn hockey.
Adrienne: Has a vocabulary of several words including: Mama, Hi, Bye, Dog, Ball, Up, Melmo (Elmo), Papa, Shoe, Bruh (brother), Go, A'Me (Mommy), Baa (her stuffed plush sheep), Ba (bath-a bit difficult to distinguish from Baa, except that she talks about Baa only if she is holding him), Block, Chee (cheese: if you show her a piece), Uh oh, Wow, Sock, Rock, Coat, Ni ni (night night). She wants to do absolutely everything Evan does, often when he is doing it. This does, as you can imagine, lead to a few conflicts. She is a very tall and slender girl, but has a tummy with an outtie that she uses to lead her when walking (so funny). She has a dimple on her left side that she is already using to her advantage. She's a great walker and is working on running already! She is also at least part monkey and climbs anything and everything. She is definitely into a lot more things than Evan was as a toddler!
Together they are keeping us very busy indeed!
