First beach trip 11/07

Yes these are much delayed photos, but here is Adrienne's first trip to the beach, Evan's second (but he doesn't remember the first). Obviously both kids had no problem charging into the cold water and loved watching the surfers!

WAHOO, ocean!

Surf city, here we come.

Mommy! There are SHELLS!

He could have been knocked over by a tidal wave and wouldn't have seen it coming as he was so focused on getting SHELLS.

Donna and Evan on the beach

How does one best display a shell collection? Like this! (Evan did this all by himself)

After a long day at the beach, everyone is tired. Can you tell who is not yet ready for a bed?

Guess who likes dress up?

Here is one weekend's worth of dress up. This is princess Adrienne with her special "cheese!" smile.

With the addition of the Tinkerbell crown and wand.

CHEESE again

Belated Halloween

It's a bird...it's a plane...it's SUPER EVAN!

First time he's gotten his face painted. Booooooo!

The little lady bug. Notice the face painting. Look familiar? :)

It's just SNOW FUN

You'd think that snow would make everyone happy, but apparently not all of us start out that way. Here is Mr. Happy Camper...

Sled girl!

Things are perking up with his snowboard.

Now that's better! SNOWBALL FIGHT!

Thank you Aunt Jan & Uncle John for the snowman kit. Isn't it cute?

photos photos photos

In the hopes of getting caught up I will skip many of the intervening things that have taken place and just show cute photos.

This is Adrienne's view of the world. Notice who is the largest!

I just love this picture of her, look at that cute smile!

SUPERSTAR!

Evan filled out this children's activity page in church (geared at kids age 7-12).

Adrienne's art work. I was impressed with the detail.

California Dreaming

I'm behind in my posting, but here goes. We went on a trip to California in November, yeah...November, I said I was behind!

Donna had a conference, and we thought it was a good time for all of us to visit her family and visit Disneyland. Below are photos from Disney to capture highlights. The princess lunch was entirely for Evan, who loved it (especially his favorite Aurora). The next post will be about visiting the cousins, which was wonderful and we had a blast!

Airplane Rides!

Love for Aurora!

Prince Evan and Mom. Oh yeah, and Ariel too.

Belle and Snow White. Adrienne couldn't bring herself to stop eating to meet Snow White officially.

California Adventures "A Bug's Life" coaster (their first ride) and meeting Flik.

Can you tell Adrienne is still very unsure of characters?

Adrienne's second birthday

We celebrated Adrienne's second birthday on Saturday with her godparents and it was a lovely time. Evan had a difficult time not being the center of attention and was constantly wanting to 'help' his sister with things like her gifts, but we all managed nicely. The funniest thing was how excited she got over everything, including the awesome card she got from Uncle John and Aunt Jan that played...the HAMSTER DANCE SONG! This, I think, has been the biggest hit of all :)

Winnie the Pooh cake

Girl loves her cake

We kept hearing "Happy birthday to my CAKE!"

Wait? There are presents?

What's in HERE?

OOOH!

Awesome new jacket (SIZE 4T??) from Aunt Jan & Uncle John
